Xenon HID Bulbs

HID is an abbreviation of High Intensity discharge, which is a technical term for the electric art that produces the light. These bulbs are known as gas discharge burners and produce a lot of light with the help of salts that combust in the gas chamber.

The xenon gas in the light bulb helps to produce just enough light required at start up. Most of these bulbs are used in cars like BMWs. These bulbs offer greater luminosity, safety and usability than halogen bulbs. Xenon HID bulbs are a safe and better option than halogen or tungsten bulbs. They are easier to maintain, but the glare they produce, is sometimes too much.

There are brands like D2S, MaxLux, and other best brands that offer you value for money and longevity. There are a host of Xenon varieties to suit the exact car of your choice, like Ford Xenon, Jaguar Xenon, Land rover Xenon and a host of other car bulbs to choose from.

The prices vary depending on the quality of the HID Xenon bulb and the power it produces. These bulbs are also called replacement bulbs for your factory fitted Xenon lights.

  1. Xenon HID lights provide brighter illumination in comparison to halogen and are more energy and cost-efficient as well. But when it comes to glare, the federal requirements are similar for both.
